Build in buffer time — everything takes 15-30 minutes longer than planned. Allow 90 minutes minimum for hair and makeup per person (bride: 90-120 min, each bridesmaid: 45-60 min). First look photos before the ceremony save 60-90 minutes of post-ceremony photos and let you enjoy cocktail hour with your guests. Golden hour photos (30-45 minutes before sunset) produce the best lighting.
