Bedarf

Kaminofen (Zuheizung): 3-6 Raummeter/Saison. Alleinheisung: 10-20 Rm. 1 Raummeter (Rm) = ~0,7 Festmeter. Buche: 35-50 €/Rm (bester Brennwert). Fichte: 25-35 €/Rm (schnell warm, schnell verbrannt). Eiche: 35-45 €/Rm (lange Glut). In Deutschland ist Buche der Gold-Standard beim Brennholz.

Trocknung

Mindestens 1-2 Jahre trocken lagern (unter 20% Restfeuchte). Frisches Holz: 50% Wasser — schlechte Verbrennung und Russentwicklung. Feuchtemessgeraet: 10-20 € — unverzichtbar.
