Verschnittfaktoren

Gerade Verlegung: 10%. Diagonal: 15%. Fischgrät: 20%. Anfänger: +5% extra. 15 m² diagonal: 15 × 1,15 = 17,25 m². Immer aus der gleichen Charge kaufen — Farbabweichungen zwischen Chargen sind sichtbar.

Formate

Große Fliesen (60×60): weniger Fugen, Raum wirkt größer. Brauchen aber perfekt ebenen Untergrund. Für Bäder: 30×60 cm ist der beste Kompromiss. In Deutschland: Villeroy & Boch und Agrob Buchtal sind Premium-Marken. Bauhaus-Eigenmarke ist preiswert und gut.

⚡ CalcWolf Insight

The most common DIY tiling mistake: not back-buttering large-format tiles (12×24 and bigger). Apply thinset to both the floor AND the back of the tile, then comb one surface. This ensures 95%+ mortar coverage, preventing hollow spots that crack under foot traffic.
