Racines Courantes

√1=1, √4=2, √9=3, √16=4, √25=5, √36=6, √49=7, √64=8, √81=9, √100=10. Les racines non parfaites sont irrationnelles : √2=1,414..., √3=1,732..., √5=2,236... Pour simplifier : √72 = √(36×2) = 6√2.

Applications

Diagonale d'une pièce : 4×3 m → √(16+9) = √25 = 5 m (théorème de Pythagore). Surface d'un carré : si l'aire est 225 m², le côté = √225 = 15 m. Écart-type en statistique : racine carrée de la variance.
