Schlafbedarf

Neugeborene (0-3 Mon.): 14-17h. 4-11 Mon.: 12-15h. 1-2 Jahre: 11-14h. 3-5: 10-13h. Ein 6 Monate altes Baby sollte nachts 10-12h schlafen (evtl. mit Stillen) + 2-3 Nickerchen tags. In Deutschland empfiehlt die DGKJ sichere Schlafumgebung: Rueckenlage, Schlafsack, eigenes Bett im Elternzimmer.

Schlaftraining

Ab 4-6 Monaten moeglich. Sanfte Methoden (graduelles Zurueckziehen) sind in Deutschland populaerer als die amerikanische Cry-it-out-Methode. Hebammen und Schlafberater (zertifiziert) bieten individuelle Beratung.
