La Fórmula

(Ingreso deseado + impuestos SE + seguro + gastos) ÷ horas facturables = tarifa mínima. Si quieres equivalente a $70K empleado: $70K + $10.7K SE tax + $6K seguro + $4K gastos = $90,700 ÷ 1,200 horas facturables = $76/hora mínimo. La regla rápida: tu tarifa freelance debe ser 1.5-2x tu tarifa equivalente como empleado.

Horas Facturables Reales

De 2,080 horas laborales anuales: resta vacaciones (2-4 semanas), enfermedad, tiempo no facturable (marketing, admin, facturación = 30-40%). Resultado: 1,000-1,400 horas facturables reales. Los freelancers exitosos facturan 20-30 horas/semana efectivas — el resto es trabajo necesario pero no pagado.

⚡ CalcWolf Insight

The #1 pricing mistake freelancers make: pricing based on what they think the client will pay instead of what they need to earn. Calculate your minimum rate from your financial needs FIRST, then only take clients who can pay that rate. Discounting your rate to win work is a race to the bottom that leads to burnout and financial stress.
