No Brasil: 122 × 244 cm (2,97 m²) ou 110 × 220 cm (2,42 m²). Para cobrir 30 m²: 30 ÷ 2,97 = 10,1 chapas + 10% = 11. Espessuras comuns: 6, 10, 12, 15, 18 mm. OSB é 30-40% mais barato mas menos resistente à umidade.

Por Uso

Fundo de móvel: 6 mm. Divisória leve: 10 mm. Prateleira: 15-18 mm. Forma para concreto: 12-18 mm. O MDF é preferido para móveis (superfície mais lisa). O compensado naval resiste à umidade mas custa 2-3× o padrão.

When buying plywood, inspect each sheet at the store. Plywood can warp, delaminate, or have voids in lower grades. Stand the sheet on edge — it should be straight with no twist. Check edges for delamination (separation of layers). This 30-second inspection prevents project headaches.
