AMRAP

As Many Reps/Rounds As Possible — a workout format used in CrossFit and strength training.

In an AMRAP workout, you perform as many rounds of prescribed exercises as possible within a set time limit. Example: 12-minute AMRAP of 10 push-ups, 15 air squats, 20 double-unders. Your score is the total rounds and reps completed. AMRAP workouts are self-scaling — beginners and elite athletes do the same movements but complete different amounts of work. They test both fitness and pacing strategy.
